More than 200 monuments in 60 different countries were lightened blue in order to celebrate the 70 years from the creation of the UN. The Pyramids and the Great Wall of China were among the buildings that "became" blue. This event gave our students the chance to talk about the importance of peace in the world. They talked about the development of a society which lives peacefully. The students had the chance to expose their ideas and worries about the difficulties of securing peace in a country and how important it is for everyone's existance.
