Safer Internet Day 2017 is celebrated on Tuesday 7th February. The main theme of the celebration this year is 'Be the change: Unite for a better Internet'.

Internet is used every day in our lives. People go on the internet not just to look for information and learn the news but also to communicate with others, have fun and promote their job. Young people also use the internet and the social media quite often.

The students of our fifth class worked on a project related to the "Safer Internet Day". We talked about the way internet should be used, referred to different tips that everyone must follow when they are online. The children worked in groups and made their own rules about internet safety. Finally, the pupils created projects on their iPads giving advice to anyone who is online.
