"Miss, why should I have to learn English?" That's a legitimate question which has probably crossed just about every pupil's mind, especially when things start to get tough. Our 1st graders got to know some of the countries where English is an official language and coloured their national flags; Australia, Canada, the UK, the USA to name but a few. Let's hope that they have started to realise why learning English is worth their time and effort!
