This has been a truly creative week for our English learners! Our 3rd graders created imaginative collages of British Christmas Menus and learned new words along the way! They were impressed to learn about British Christmas recipes, "pigs in a blanket" (sausages wrapped up in bacon), "honey-roast carrots" and "gravy". Our younger learners had great fun doing arts and crafts in English and learning about "baubles" and "garlands" to the sound of English songs. Stand-up cardboard trees, beautifully decorated wish cards and colouring pages have lightened up our week and made the countdown to Christmas vacations more special! Happy New Year!
