Guy Fawkes Night is celebrated on 5 November in Great Britain. It originated when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding the explosives that were intended to kill King James I. Fireworks are now lit during that day to commemorate this significant event. What's more, effigies are burnt and huge binfires are lit. All these traditions excited our students' interest and curiosity and considered it as a chance for a new Project. They were inforned about the events of that period in England and their work was great.
