A fruit salad is the perfect dessert or daytime snack. Fat free, juicy, sweet and extremely healthy. In an effort to get students to love fruit and vegetables, we prepared a rainbow fruit salad with our first graders during our CLIL lesson. We've been studying different kinds of fruit lately and making a fruit salad would be something easy and entertaining for our enthusiastic young learners.
Red apples, green apples, oranges, bananas, pears, red grapefruits and grapes were included in our fruit salad to make it delicious and colourful. Our first graders enjoyed the whole process of making it.
It's of great importance to teach our students to create meals and habits around fruit and vegetables.
