The first grade students of our Primary School handcrafted their family tree in the English class. Children were encouraged to use the vocabulary structures they have learned during the lesson. They put pictures of their family members on the paper trees and wrote the respective words under each picture. That was a project which satisfied not only the acquisition of new words in English but also the children’s creativity.
